Bob Crow’s class war doesn’t help ordinary people

After a gruelling visit to last month’s TUC Congress, I conclude that the only person as nutty as Bob Crow’s is Sarah Palin

I  know it is thoroughly juvenile and unfair but the mental image of the TUC Conference in Manchester as Jurassic Park is completely irresistible. It is not that the beasts are dumb or benign, I am quite sure they are not. Bob Crow is an uncompromising Tyrannosaurus Rex - you eat what you kill, as the bankers say - but it is a different world, surrounded by verdant hills and accessible only by air.
