Oxfordshire to explore bus QCs

Oxfordshire County Council is to investigate whether bus Quality Contracts could reduce the council’s spending on bus services.

The county plans to work with bus operators to explore whether  ‘place-based public transport procurement’ can reduce the council’s current £34m a year expenditure on tendered timetabled services and school and social services transport.
