Councilors on Brighton and Hove City Council will vote next month on whether to remove a flagship segregated cycle lane scheme.

The ruling minority Conservative administration has come in for fierce criticism from Labour and Green opposition councillors for the plan to spend £1.1m removing the ‘cycle freeway’ along Grand Avenue and The Drive, a 1km residential boulevard in Hove.
