Woolwich Crossrail station safeguarded

Plans for a Crossrail station at Woolwich moved a step closer to being realised last week when transport secretary Philip Hammond announced that a legally binding agreement for the construction of the basic station box had been reached between the DfT, Crossrail Ltd, Transport for London and developer Berkeley Homes.
