Cyclists pose a tiny threat to pedestrians’ safety

Paul Biggs complains about the “air of superiority” of cyclists.

Each life lost on the roads is a tragedy; perhaps he could for, say, each of the last five years, give details of the pedestrian/motor vehicle and pedestrian/cyclist fatalities for crossings and pavements. This would show where the true danger lies.

His comment that a bicycle is the “weapon of choice” for “getting away with it”, i.e. killing a pedestrian, is bizarre to say the lea...
