Richmond residents get taste of discount card

Up to 10,000 motorists in Richmond-upon-Thames will get 30 minutes free parking when the council begins trialling its new RichmondCards from early June.

The trial card, which functions between 10 June and 31 August, is accepted at any council car park or street bay. They also allow a 10% discounts on longer stays.

The 10,000 trial cards are being distributed at libraries, council-run sports and leisure centres, and at “All in One” village meetings. Five thousand will be handed out...
