Scotland’s regional transport partnerships have called for major reforms to the grant regime for switching goods from road to rail and water.
The RTPs have written to Scottish transport minister Keith Brown and the DfT, calling for the Freight Facilities Grant regime to be made more attractive to businesses in Scotland. FFG funds capital works such as freight terminals to facilitate modal shift.
