Electric vehicle charging infrastructure provider Chargemaster this week announced what it claims will be the first privately-funded nationwide EV charging network.
The company’s POLAR network, will initially cover about 100 towns and cities across the UK, providing 4,000 charging bays by the end of 2012. The network is designed to complement the Government’s Plugged in Places (PiPs) programme and will initially launch in over 50 towns over the next nine months.
