Your page 3 headline “Segregate cyclists and make urban car use ‘difficult’, say researchers” suggests a policy that is hard to sell to most politicians (ibid). Perhaps this is inevitable from research based in areas where the study team remark that “nowhere ... did we find a culture of normalised, everyday urban cycling”.
