Twin boost for bus services in Glasgow

A Statutory Quality Partnership for bus services in Glasgow is to be launched in January.

Glasgow City Council and Strathclyde Partnership for Transport’s SQP will specify vehicle emission standards and the proportion of vehicles that must be low floor. The standards will be progressively tightened so that, by January 2014, operators will have to achieve 100% low floor operation and minimum EURO 3 emission standards.
