Traffic lights removed at 20 sites

London mayor Boris Johnson’s pledge to take out redundant traffic signals has so far resulted in their removal from 20 locations – six on the Transport for London Road Network and 14 on borough roads. TfL identified 145 locations last summer where it believed signals could potentially be removed.
