Senior management positions are being offered at two interesting island public transport operations

The Isle of Man Government is seeking a Head of operations for its Public Transport Division to manage and deliver it's public transport network, which as well as a year round bus operation, includes three seasonal heritage rail attractions, the steam railway, Manx Electric Railway and Snaefell Mountain Railway.

The post holder will support the Director of Public Transport in developing and implementing policies and strategies for the Public Transport Division.

As well as a competitive salary, the Isle of Man is a low tax environment (with a maximum rate of income tax of 20%) and enjoys one of the highest resident satisfaction ratings in the British Isles.

There are a number of jobs also on offer on the Mediterranean Island of Malta at the bus operation, now run by, under a contract running until 2021. The operation of up to 300 buses, and over 900 people is expanding and the company is seeking operations managers, depot managers and planners, particularly those with previous experience of developing new depots as well as a fleet engineer.   Relocation assistance is offered, further information is available from Lisa Davies.
