A consultant at Steer Davies Gleave has won the 2011 Voorhees-Large Prize for research into bus bunching. David Bellinger’s transport Masters dissertation at the University of Westminster used data from Transport for London’s iBus automatic vehicle location system to develop a new metric to describe bus bunching, which he then measured on 30 London bus routes.
