Road deaths up 42% in Manchester

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has launched a road safety campaign aimed at drivers after a 42% increase in road deaths last year.

The campaign ‘Dicing with Death’ seeks to reduce the fatal accident rate, which rose to 75 people on the roads of Greater Manchester in 2011 up from 53 the previous year. ??
