Alstom and Transmashholding launch new Moscow tramway
Alstom are in partnership with Transmash-holding (TMH) to supply a high-speed low-floor tramway to be built in Russia with associated innovative management systems.
The modular prototype presented in Moscow is based on Alstom’s flagship Citadis, designed for maximum speed of 75kph, and average 25kph compared to 11kph for existing tramways in Moscow.
