Cable car opens for business

The UK’s first urban cable car will open on Thursday, providing a new transport link across the River Thames from Greenwich to Royal Docks in east London. The 1.1km-long Emirates Air Line will operate seven days a week, from 0700-2100 Mondays-Fridays with a later start on Saturdays (0800) and Sundays (0900).
