Silverstone counts cost of waterlogged car parks at British Grand Prix

The British Racing Drivers Club, owner of Silverstone, is counting the cost of its decision to close its car parks to spectators heading to the British Grand Prix on Saturday because of waterlogged car parks. The bill in refunded tickets and other lost revenues could run into five figures, Silverstone’s managing director Richard Phillips has admitted.
