Bristol Rovers new stadium gets okay

South Gloucestershire Council has approved proposals for a new 21,700-seat stadium for Bristol Rovers FC. The plans were approved by 12 to 1 for the development at Stoke Gifford. The approvals are subject to certain conditions, such as provisions for local transport links and the prevention of uncontrolled car parking around the new stadium.
