Housing developments need better bike storage facilities

The legacy effect of the Olympics has shown how many people have actually taken the plunge and taken possession of a bike. But an owner of a cycle has to find somewhere safe to lodge the bike during the periods of rest. The target audience for an increase in cycling as a means of transport are likely to reside in smaller houses or flats of one sort or another. Each of these types of accommodation are likely to be difficult for cycle owners due to constrictions of space.
