Five killed in new car park collapse in Shanghai

Five construction workers were killed and 18 hurt at the building site of a new car park in Shanghai, according to reports from Chinese state media. Shanghai's Work Safety Administration said that a concrete structure at the car park in the eastern district of Pudong collapsed at around 9pm on New Year's Eve. The car park was being built to support a new metro line in the city. One worker died on the spot while the other four died at hospital, according to an official announcement....
