Councillors in Brighton and Hove have approved plans to give pedestrians and cyclists more priority at a notorious junction in the city.
The Seven Dials roundabout is a seven-armed junction located north-west of the city centre. About 26,000 vehicles pass through the roundabout every day.
The £500,000-£600,000 improvement scheme will see all the pedestrian guardrailing removed and the pelican crossings on the junction arms replaced with raised zebra crossings.
