Transport Scotland must rethink how it funds cycling if it is serious about boosting cycle trips.
That’s the message given by the North East Scotland Transport Partnership (NESTRANS) in response to Transport Scotland’s consultation on refreshing its 2010 Cycling Action Plan.
The plan set a target to increase the proportion of all journeys by bicycle to 10% of all trips by 2020.
