Scotland’s public spending watchdog has told Transport Scotland to improve the way it reports cost data for major transport projects.
The recommendation comes in Audit Scotland’s review of five projects with a combined capital cost of £3.8bn:
• the £1.462bn Forth replacement crossing – this week named the Queensferry Crossing – due for completion in 2016;
• a £745m package of the £653m Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR)...
