I am writing to clarify the position with the Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF) following the spending round announcements made by the Chancellor and the Chief Secretary on 26 and 27 June, which emphasised the Government’s commitment to investment in transport (‘Roads boost and BSOG saved as LEPs get local transport cash’ LTT 28 Jun).
