DfT eases rules on development close to strategic road network

The DfT has paved the way for more development to be built close to England’s motorways and trunk road networks. 

The new policy on development and the strategic road network aims to bring policy into line with the more permissive approach to planning outlined in the National Planning Policy Framework, which was published last March.
