Retailer Asda is to use London Underground car parks as pick-up points for shoppers who have made purchases online.
The deal with Transport for London follows trials of the concept at a park & ride site in Nottingham and a business park in Reading.
Asda’s scheme allows same-day ordering before noon, meaning commuters making online purchases before midday will be able to collect their shopping after 4pm.
