The DfT has appointed consultants to develop a tool for monetising the benefits of spending on local road maintenance outside London.
“The project aims to establish a toolkit that can be used to test the implications of different degrees of current spending levels on the future trajectory of network condition, spending requirements and wider impacts,” explains the DfT.
