Merseytravel is to withdraw three electric bus services in St Helens as part of a programme of spending cuts.
The E10, E11 and E12 free town circular services, operated by Selwyns Travel, will cease operations on 22 February.
The services use six battery-electric Technobus Pantheon vehicles that were introduced in 2002, funded by European grant. Merseytravel, which owns the vehicles, says they are coming to the end of their operational lives and investment to keep them running...
