An Atkins/AECOM joint venture has won an £189,707 contract from the Highways Agency to review current provision for cycling in scheme design; update technical standards; prepare a training programme for designers to encourage greater consideration for cyclists; and develop a strategy for future research into cycle issues. The contract runs to April 2016.
