Transport for London has launched a procurement for a fleet of new Tube trains for the Jubilee and Northern lines. Up to 18 trains will be provided for the Jubilee line to increase frequencies, and up to 50 trains for the Northern line – 45 to increase frequencies and five for the proposed extension to Battersea.
