Station bike hubs get passengers cycling

The popularity of Cyclehoop hubs at Paddington Station serves as further evidence that demand for bike-rail facilities is growing

Demand quickly outweighed supply when a 380-space cycle hub was installed on Platform 11 at Paddington Station last year. Within weeks of the Cyclehoop hub being launched in February 2013, it was filled to capacity. This prompted Network Rail to again enlist Cyclehoop’s help, which resulted in the opening last month of a second 380-space hub on Platform 10.
