The Traffic Penalty Tribunal (TPT), the body that deals with appeals against parking and bus lane penalties in England and Wales outside London, is now considering appeals against penalties issued for failing to pay a charge at the Dartford River Crossing.
A new free flow traffic system was introduced on 30 November at the crossing, with existing barriers and toll booths being removed to allow the free flow of vehicles in both directions.
