Cable car patronage ‘below forecast’

Passenger numbers on the cable car in east London are running below forecast, according to Transport for London. The Emirates Air Line, which connects Greenwich Peninsula and the Royal Docks, had been expected to carry 1.8 million passengers in 2015/16 but TfL says the final figure is likely to be 1.5 million.
