Modelling Intelligent Mobility

At Modelling World 2015, Transport Systems Catapult will be exploring the future of Intelligent Mobility; specifically examining new opportunities within the modelling sector as a result of the shift from 'traditional' transport thinking towards 'Intelligent Mobility'. In this sense, Intelligent Mobility means new ways of increasing the efficiency of moving people and goods. Emerging technologies, including mobile devices, the internet of things, open data and wireless communications are becoming increasingly important in supporting the transport and mobility demands of the future, requiring innovations in all areas of the transport system. Key issues for Modelling World will be modelling for a driverless future and bringing models to life; engaging stakeholders through visualisation and model innovation.
