The dominance of traffic in Stratford town centre in east London is to be ended under the London Borough of Newham’s plans to replace the gyratory system with two-way working.

The gyratory encircles the Stratford Centre shopping mall, separating it from Stratford’s railway/Tube station and the Westfield shopping complex.
