The world’s first retro-fitted fully electric double-deck bus entered service in York this week. The 15-year old vehicle, owned by Transdev and used on city sightseeing services, has been converted from diesel to fully electric using a £75,433 grant from the DfT’s Clean Bus Technology Fund.
