David Edmeades, a former manager at Smart Parking, has admitted to embezzling £45,000 from the company over a three-year period.
Edmeades, who was Smart’s PCN enforcement manager, made the admission at Perth Sheriff Court on 9 June.
He joined Smart Parking in 2000, aged 29, after serving in the armed forces. He was recruited to set up a notice administration and appeals service for the company, which was then called Town & City Parking.
