TfL is to pilot improvements to pedestrian safety in two south London town centres. Between £2m and £5m will be spent in Tooting (Wandsworth) and Peckham (Southwark) on measures including redesigned junctions. Action plans will be developed by the end of this year and, after consultation and feasibility studies, measures will be delivered by the end of 2017/18.
