THE USE of aerial drones to inspect highways structures will snowball when officers appreciate the financial, time and safety benefits on offer, according to a specialist contractor.

Many companies and public bodies fly unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over land, buildings and structures with video cameras capturing high-resolution footage of areas that are difficult to view by other means.
