A plan for a new road link round the south side of Derby is being drawn up by Derby City Council, Derbyshire County Council and South Derbyshire District Council. The Southern Derby Integrated Transport Link would connect into the A38 south-west of the city, heading east to join up with roads serving the Infinity Park technology park near the A514/A50 junction.
