The Government is cutting the grant paid to purchasers of electric cars and other low emission vehicles, as well as for the installation of home charging points.
The Plug-in Car Grant was introduced in 2011 and currently offers £5,000 off the purchase price of an ultra-low emission vehicle (ULEV).
