Dorset councils study local government reform

Local authorities in the Dorset, Poole and Bournemouth area are commissioning a study into remapping the area’s local government geography. 

Dorset is a county council with six districts whereas Bournemouth and Poole are both unitaries. 

The study will compare three options with the status quo:
