Traffic volumes on the M6 Toll road in the West Midlands grew by more than 14% in October-December 2015 compared with the corresponding period of 2014, according to road owner Midland Expressway Ltd.
Average workday traffic volumes in Quarter 4 of 2015 were 52,735, up 14.9% on the 45,890 in Q4 2014.
Weekend/holiday volumes were 36,954, up 12.8% on the 32,772 in Q4 2014.
