Council leaders in the West Midlands conurbation are to cut the levy to the West Midlands Integrated Transport Authority by 5% in 2016/17 to £124.8m, down from £131.4m this year. WMITA will use almost £1m of reserves in 2016/17 to take total revenue expenditure up to £125.8m. The levy in 2015/16 already represents a 10% reduction on the 2013/14 level.
