West Wales rail re-opening studied

A detailed study of re-opening the railway between Carmarthen and Aberystwyth in West Wales is being urged by Ceredigion Council. The line closed to passengers in 1965 and to freight in 1973. Re-opening is being championed by campaign group Traws Link Cymru and a scoping study for the Welsh Government by AECOM was recently completed.
