Awards celebrate smarter travel’s top teams

The winners of the Smarter Travel Awards have been revealed at ArenaMk in Milton Keynes this evening.

The awards were presented at the end of day one of Smarter Travel LIVE! The awards ceremony was presented by Richard Armitage, chair of the independent judging panel made up of prominent transport professionals. The winners:

* Best Shared Mobility Service Provider Award: Co-Wheels Club 

* Best Smarter Travel Marketing Campaign Award: Diva Creative – CTC

* Smarter Travel Professional Award: Richard Smith, Director, Action Streets

* Innovation Award: Blaze Laserlight, Santander Cycles & TfL

* Best Workplace Travel Plan: Thames Valley Park

* Smarter Travel Live Hackathon: Base

More than 600 delegates are attending the two-day conference and exhibition, presented by Landor LINKS, hosted by Milton Keynes Council and sponsored by Atkins and Transport Systems Catapult. Day two's programme will feature a host of leading transport practitioners, among them Smarter Travel Awards winners and finalists.
