London Luton Airport has presented plans for an automated people mover to connect the airport with Luton Airport Parkway railway station.
The £200m automated system would replace the shuttle bus that currently operates between the two points.
Consultant Arup has been appointed to design and procure the 2.2km system. A planning application could be made in the autumn and construction could begin in 2017, with the system opening by the end of 2020.
