The DfT and London’s new mayor consult on two new ideas

It can only be coincidence that the DfT is consulting on the use of charges to reduce congestion due to unattended roadworks at weekends at the same time as the new London mayor plans to launch a ‘Toxicity Charge’ on the worst polluting vehicles.
