A free cycle hire scheme powered by advertising is being promised for London.
Buzzbike is the brainchild of Tom Hares and Andy Nunn, who worked for Apple and KPMG respectively. They are currently trying to raise £350,000 via Crowdcube for 25% of the equity in the company.
Hares and Nunn hope the scheme will tap in to the £1.1bn outdoor advertising market. Their plan would see the first 200 Buzzbike bicycles launched in Shoreditch in the East End during September....
