The Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough Enterprise Partnership is seeking Government funding to develop plans to re-open the railway between March and Wisbech. The line closed to passengers in 1968 but remained open for freight until 2000. A GRIP stage 2 assessment of the re-opening was completed in April.
